Our Process

My approach is highly personalized - everything is driven by your needs, goals and timeline. It all starts with a conversation.

The Discovery Call

In this free 20-minute introductory phone call we will discuss your organizing needs and explore how I can support you.

Project proposal

Based on our conversation, I will email you a project proposal. You confirm that the proposal accurately reflects your needs and then e-transfer the required deposit.

Let the work begin

Once the deposit is received, we schedule our first working session and get started on your project.

Service Delivery Options

On-site Organizing

Having more hands working on the project is your quickest route to the finish line. We can either work as a team or have regular check-ins where you provide direction. Sessions are typically between 3 to 5 hours long depending on the needs of the project and your schedule.

We currently provide on-site organizing support in the Greater Vancouver area.

Virtual Organizing

A Virtual Organizer is your strategist, accountability partner, problem solver and source of encouragement. By providing ideas, resources and support I keep you moving towards your goals. You may choose to have an organizing buddy at your end to help with the physical work. Virtual organizing is delivered through a video meeting platform such as Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp. Sessions are typically between 60-90 minutes long.

We provide virtual organizing support to people anywhere in the world.

Packing Services

All packing services are done on-site according to a schedule that keeps you organized and on track for moving day while minimizing disruption.

Other questions you may have

What should I do to prepare for your visit?

Nothing! It is important that I see your space exactly the way you deal with it on a day-to-day basis. It helps me to understand your situation and create solutions that will work for you.

Is organizing the same as cleaning?

Definitely not! Cleaning addresses the dirt that accumulates naturally in your home. Tidying has to happen in order to clean the surfaces of your home. Organizing goes deeper than cleaning or tidying and gets to the root causes of clutter. Decluttering is about sorting through your things in order to find what is important to you.

Is it just about throwing things out?

No, it’s not. While there may be items you are willing to part with, organizing is about more than just releasing belongings. Many clients find that organizing allows them to clear out negative energy and release emotional ties to the past that hold them back from living in the present.

Do you have any clients I can talk to?

Yes, I can connect you with previous clients who would be happy to talk about my work.

Who is a professional organizer?

A Professional Organizer is an individual that can make your space more functional and efficient by creating a customized system that works for your specific needs. A Professional Organizer provides assistance and support in the decision-making process. Professional Organizers ask questions and find solutions to improve your everyday life so everything has a home and is easy to find. We provide information and teach you how to stay organized. Many Professional Organizers are members of the Professional Organizers in Canada and have taken extensive training in the art (and science) of organizing.

What about confidentiality?

I respect confidentiality and provide and sign a personal confidentiality waiver if you wish. All members of Professional Organizers in Canada are required to uphold the Code of Ethics.
